DAY 25

Being on a roll of latex and materials, I have this vision of a latex pillow, filled with a red liquid or material. The sculpture would be interactive, so the viewer can touch and poke it and experience it fully.

I've been researching Artist Kiki Smith today:

Her work is so visceral, I am in love.

And also, Artist Felix Deac, a Romanian artist creates these very life-like sculptures focusing on skin, moles and veins.

So, I decided to cover a pillow with liquid latex..approximately 5 layers on each side, and put some red fabric inside...very interesting with the light shining through. I would like to try this a little thinner perhaps...
